Patientswithcervicalcordneuropraxiapresentwithpainandneurologicalsymptomsinbotharmsand/orlegs.Itmayalsobeassociatedwithtransientquadriplegia,wherethereisalsoassociatedweakness.Symptomstypicallyresolveover5minutesand,atthelatest,after8hours.Theseathletesshouldbeassumedtohaveasignificantspinalinjury(fractureordislocation)untilprovenotherwise.

頸椎脊髓神經疾病

頸脊髓神經質缺乏症患者的手臂和/或腿部均出現疼痛和神經系統症狀。它也可能與短暫性四肢癱瘓相關，其中也伴有虛弱。症狀通常會在5分鐘內消失，最遲在8小時後消失。除非另外證明，否則應該假定這些運動員有嚴重的脊柱損傷（骨折或脫臼）。
